In the above screen shot you can see ASIO4ALL being used in a SPEC layout using something called Virtual

Audio Cable (more about that in a minute) as an input and a (DTS Interactive) ASUS card being used as the

output.

To use ASIO4All in Plogue, select Audio Devices  Duplex  ASIO  ASIO$ALL v2(duplex) and connect as

described in the previous section. With Plogue processing off, double click on the device to bring up the

Plogue “ASIO Control Panel”. Pressing “Send command” will open up ASIO4ALL. Click on the wrench icon in

the lower right hand corner so it looks like the above screen shot.

Now you can select the devices you want to use, by clicking in the left had side of the rectangle next to each

device. Be sure to include each “parent” device as shown above. When you turn processing on, you should see

the little blue triangles in the right hand side of the rectangles, indicating a working device.

Note that ASIO4ALL won’t open if you press “Send command” in the ASIO Control Panel when processing is

on. Processing must be off to open ASIO4ALL. Also note that after making your selections you may have to quit

and restart Plogue so ASIO4ALL will have the correct number of input and output pins.
